Production of genetically-modified products is prohibited in Russia, but their import is allowed. GMO are rarely used for food production, but they are intended for feeding animals and, subsequently, become part of the human diet. This happens despite the fact that their safety has not yet been confirmed. However, it does not prevent some people from regarding GMO as a logical result of developing selection, and every time being sincerely glad when Russian scientists, for example, report on producing goat’s milk with a high content of useful nutrients.
