The goal of the Genetic Literacy Project is to serve as a resource to those interested in disentangling ideology from science. Our mission is to improve the quality of the public discourse on genetics and to act as a hub for journalists, NGOs and policy makers on issues and controversies involving biotechnology, food and farming. The Genetic Literacy Project is here to be your library and salon. We are a small non-profit monitoring the global news media, industry and NGOs. To protect our independence, we do not run ads.
The Genetic Literacy Project is a non-profit arm of the 501(c)(3) Science Literacy Project. We depend on the generosity of non-partisan foundations and people like you. Every contribution helps support the kind of coverage and the independent journalism that you have come to expect. Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to the GLP. Thank you.
