With the talk of space exploration and Mars colonization raising hopes of humans becoming an interplanetary species, the issue of surviving in space remains a problem. Microgravity and radiation both pose a threat to our health and safety if we spend too much time in outer space. However, the introduction of gene editing technology may offer a solution.
