Golden Rice myths given careful scrutiny

In the comments section of David Tribe’s recent piece, “For GM food and vaccination, the panic virus is a deadly disease,” on The Conversation‘s website, the anti-GMO group MADGE highlighted an article written by an American activist, making several critical allegations about the Golden Rice project.

Tribe, a self-declared GMO pundit, is an applied geneticist at the University of Melbourne. Tribe contacted Adrian Dubock of the Golden Rice project itself, and he provided information to help address some of MADGE’s criticisms. In a blog post, Tribe and Dubock provide careful scrutiny of six main myths provided by MADGE.
